ABOUT GREENKEY
Greenkey Environmental Solutions Ltd is a 100% Kenyan-owned and managed consulting firm with a focus on providing a range of environmental solutions to industries across Kenya and in time the East African Region. Greenkey was founded in January 2013 by two Kenyan environmental professionals. Both founders have diverse international and local environmental education and experience which gives Greenkey a unique ability to address a wide range of environmental issues.
Naheed Popat is the founder and Managing Director of Greenkey Environmental Solutions Ltd. Naheed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science majoring in Environmental and Geographic Sciences and Social Anthropology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is also an accredited LEED Green Associate.
Naheed formerly worked as an Environmental Advisor for two years with Intex Construction in Kenya. Prior to this he worked as an Environmental Advisor for Industrial Promotion Services Ltd. Naheed has worked on various construction projects throughout the country acquiring extensive experience in developing environmental management systems, developing and implementing occupational health and safety systems, writing policies and carrying out EIA’s.
